Jo Firth Young Workshop with Stampers Grove Lilliesleaf Sunday 15 September 2024
After reading info below scroll down to bottom and follow instructions to book your place.
We at Stampers Grove are delighted to welcome Jo Firth-Young (aka JOFY), a long term designer for PaperArtsy, for the first time to host a workshop in our home village of Lilliesleaf.
When we had our shop in Edinburgh we were lucky enough to have Jo come and visit us and run a workshop for us. She also ran a few online classes for us during the Covid period. We have been long time supporters of Jo and her gorgeous creations for PaperArtsy.

Cost: £55.00 (includes light lunch/refreshments)
(See bottom of this page for some general advice in terms of getting to Lilliesleaf)
If you would like to join us it is now time to act.
To make our life as easy as possible and to give you peace of mind that you have a place on the workshop (without the workshop being over subscribed) you can now reserve your right to book a place. We have created a notional (zero cost) product at this stage (see below). After making sure you are happy with the workshop details outlined and the terms etc, add it to your basket (do so as a separate order i.e. don't order with anything else) and then submit your order as you would with any other order. You will receive a confirmation email. We will contact you as outlined here.
** After we have been in touch the payment of £55 will be required to confirm your booking (by payment date outlined in the email we will send you). This will include a light lunch and refreshments (Please let us know if there are allergies or dietary requirements that we should be aware of).
**Cancellation may be made up to two weeks prior to the event (i.e. by 1 September) and a refund will be give providing your place can be sold.
**note: inevitably there may be circumstances which are out of our control which may cause us to alter the arrangements. Obviously if this was the case we would attempt to reschedule where possible. Refunds relating to the Workshop fees would then be offered if you were then unable to attend. We are sorry but we can't be held liable to any other consequential losses which may arise. We would of course give as much notice as possible where this was the case.
Firstly, Jo Firth Young will guide you through a few of her favourite crafting techniques, and then share a variety of little project/card ideas to bring it all together.
James and Emma of Stampers Grove will be there with a pop-up shop* (for all the supplies you need, as well as those you don’t!)
*Note Stampers Grove don't have a physical shop anymore, so this will be a pop up shop with a selection of our crafting goodies. We have created a coupon code for those attending the class that would like to access our whole website (9000+ products) and collect their products on the day of the class (only use if you have fully paid up for the class). Use the coupon 'JOFYLEAF' (spends > £15) [Valid up until and including Friday 13rd September] and this will remove postage and it will take 5% off all items on our website which are not currently discounted. We will have an envelope with your name on it which we will pass you before the class starts.*
In this workshop we’ll be stamping, stencilling and colouring with paints and pencils to create a selection of cards and decorations.... its going to be festive!! (& there may be sparkles!)

How to get there? Lilliesleaf is lovely rural village however not best served by public transport. To give you an idea our nearest shop is probably about 5-6 miles away. We have run workshops here before and everyone has managed to get here fine thankfully. There is no public transport directly through the village. So the easiest way to get to Lilliesleaf would be by car. We are about a 70 minute drive from Edinburgh. In terms of towns near by (e.g. if you were looking for accomodation). Distances as follows: Melrose (7 Miles), Selkirk (6 miles), Hawick (8 miles), Jedburgh (11 miles), Kelso (15 miles). You may of course find other accomodation nearer if you put the post code TD6 9HX into a accomodation finding website. The nearest train station is Tweedbank (near Melrose) about 7 miles away. *If you would like to vehicle share and need assistance connecting with another workshop goer let us know and we will do what we can to connect you.*
