We were delighted to have Raquel Burillo Perez (aka Scrapcosy) designer for PaperArtsy demoing for us with her 'Grungy Butterfly Demo' on Saturday 6 February 2021 Live on the Stampers Grove Facebook Page. Scrapcosy, has been a designer for PaperArtsy for a few years now and she has just brought out 3 new stamp sets and 3 stencils. She has also just introduced her own signature line of embossing powders with Wow! Embossing. Raquel designs bring us a wide range of Vintage images, beautiful scripts and other collage elements which are sure to please papercraft enthusiasts.

Her designs are often themed, eg 'Tea Time', classic English theme, but with the addition of postage, floral and sewing themes.

A Grungy Butterfly Demo

Raquel Mixed media time! Raquel  will show you how to use Infusions in different ways along with Grunge Paste and her new WOW embossing powders TRIO, Ancient Jewels. In this demo Raquel will use one of her newest PaperArtsy stamp sets and stencils to create a grunge and vintage tag. You can just watch and comment or play along with her. 

Raquel has also compiled a product list and also provided some imagery of what she will making on the day (see below). Where we have the product we have marked it with a red asterix * and included in this category.

Products:

• ESC23 - butterflies *
• PS223 - Having fun stencil*
• Fresco Finish Satin Glaze* (or other glaze by PaperArtsy, matte*, gloss*, metallic*, pearl*, that would work too, but the finish will change)
• Infusions*
• Sleight blue* (or another blue)
• Golden Sands* (or Lemoncello*, the other yellow)
• Sunset Beach* (or another pink or red)
• Fresco finish paint French Roast*
• white craft mat by paperartsy, or a plate or something that can be used as a palette for mixing paints (we have listed alternative)
• WOW embossing powders new TRIO Ancient Jewels*
• Waterproof ink - I'll use Archival ink coffee* or Versafine clair pinecone*. (can pick any brown or black as long as it is waterproof)
• Distress oxide ink - To give an aged look I recommend Vintage Photo* distress oxide (but can pick any other colour like walnut stain*) (I'll use that too) or you could try and use any other pigment ink of their choice or the regular distress. 
• Sponge dauber or piece of cut-n-dry* foam or make up sponges
• Round brush 
• Heat tool/embossing gun*
• A4 smoothy* heavy card stock (1 piece of size 7.4cm by 13.5cm and another piece 0.5cm larger for the frame)
• double sided tape or glue stick
• acrylic blocks*
• water spritzer*
• paper towel or cloth
• scissors
